Do you take time out to play? Maybe not every day but most days? Is there a block on your calendar marked “Playtime”? If not – try to make that happen, at least once this week (more if you can). Here’s how:
Step 1 – Give yourself permission to take the break – even if it’s for 5 or 10 minutes – go ahead – do it guilt free!
Step 2 – Set aside the time – again – do it guilt free.
Step 3 – Make a list of Fun Things to Do.
Step 4 – Choose a Fun Thing to Do.
Step 5 – Play with all your heart – get absorbed – be that little kid again.
Step 6 – Get up tomorrow and play some more!
Time is precious and we never get it back. Once it’s gone it’s gone so be sure to set aside some of your time to play. Make it a habit. You won’t regret it.
